fitVibe — Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

This English text is a translation of the Greek original, provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Greek version prevails.
1.

Introduction

The company WELLORA I.K.E. ("fitVibe", "we" or "us") is committed to providing an accessible digital experience to all users, including persons with disabilities and/or different abilities.

Our aim is for the fitVibe platform (website & application) to be as inclusive as possible, so that every person can discover and use fitness & wellness services with respect, dignity, equal access and independence.

The purpose of this Statement is to inform users about:

  • the approach of fitVibe to the matter of accessibility,
  • the measures we take to improve accessibility,
  • the level of compliance with the relevant standards,
  • the channels of communication for feedback or support requests.
2.

Scope & Legal Framework

This Accessibility Statement concerns the digital properties of fitVibe (website and application), to the extent that these fall within the European Accessibility Directive and the relevant Greek legislation transposing it, as well as within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Our aim is the gradual alignment with WCAG 2.1 level AA, taking into account the technical and functional particularities of our platform.

3.

Description of the Service & Efforts to Support Accessibility

fitVibe is a digital platform that connects users with studios, gyms and providers of fitness & wellness services, offering bookings, subscriptions and activity management through the web and the application.

We strive to make our platform accessible to as many people as possible, adopting technical and design practices that support:

  • Text-based descriptions: Use of clear, simple and comprehensible language where possible, especially in key flows (registration, bookings, account management).
  • Alternative text (alt text): Use of alternative text for images, icons and key buttons, so that screen readers can describe them to users with vision impairments.
  • Accessible labels & roles: Use of appropriate labels, ARIA attributes and semantic HTML structure in forms, buttons and interactive elements.
  • Logical navigation & layout: Consistent layout, clear headings, recognisable menus, as well as adequate size of tap targets.
  • Colour contrast: Pursuit of adequate contrast between text and background, so as to support users with low vision or colour blindness.
4.

Technical Aspects of Accessibility

The fitVibe platform is designed and developed with accessibility principles in mind, incorporating, where feasible, the following practices:

  • Keyboard navigation: We seek to make core functions accessible using the keyboard alone, without a mouse or a touch screen being required.
  • Error notifications: Checking for clear and descriptive error messages in forms (e.g. wrong email, empty fields), so that users are guided towards correction.
  • Avoiding reliance on colour alone: We do not rely on colour alone to convey important information (e.g. errors, statuses, available places).
  • Compatibility with assistive technologies: Our aim is the best possible interoperability with screen readers, screen magnifiers and other assistive technologies.
5.

Continuous Improvement & Accessibility Checks

We recognise that accessibility is not a static state, but a continuous process. For that reason:

  • we incorporate accessibility criteria into the design and development cycle of new features, with reference to the WCAG guidelines,
  • we carry out regular internal checks,
  • we evaluate, where possible, specific parts of the platform with accessibility tools and practices,
  • we record and prioritise improvements relating to accessibility.

The platform is continuously evolving and certain areas may be in a phase of upgrade or redesign, with the aim of improving the overall experience.

6.

Compliance Status

We seek to align the digital services of fitVibe gradually with:

  • WCAG 2.1, Level AA,
  • relevant European and national accessibility standards, as these apply from time to time.

Despite our efforts, there may be parts of the platform that are not yet fully accessible. We undertake to review these points systematically and to implement improvements where technically and operationally feasible.

7.

Third-Party Content & Services

The fitVibe platform may link to or interconnect with third-party websites, widgets, tools or content (e.g. embedded maps, payment systems, studio content). fitVibe does not control the design, the development and the accessibility of those third-party services and, therefore, cannot guarantee that they meet the same accessibility standards.

Nevertheless, we encourage partners and providers of third-party solutions to adopt accessibility practices and to continuously improve the experience for all users.

8.

Limitations & Alternative Solutions

Given the complexity and the dynamic nature of the platform, certain content or functions may not yet be fully accessible or may require further optimisation.

If you encounter difficulty:

  • in navigation,
  • in using a function,
  • or in accessing specific content,

please contact us so that we can try to provide you with a reasonable alternative solution (e.g. information by email or another channel).

9.

Feedback & Contact

We take seriously every comment or report concerning the accessibility of the fitVibe platform. If you identify any accessibility issue, or if you have a suggestion for improvement, you can contact our team:

📧 Email: info@fitvibe.gr
Subject: «Accessibility Feedback» or «Accessibility»

Please include, where possible:

  • a short description of the problem,
  • the page/section or function where it occurred,
  • the type of device/browser and any assistive technology (e.g. screen reader) you are using.

We will examine your request and will make an effort to respond and/or propose an alternative solution within a reasonable period of time.

10.

Updates to the Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement may be updated periodically, so as to reflect:

  • changes to the fitVibe platform,
  • developments in accessibility standards,
  • or amendments to the relevant legislation.

The most recent version will be available on our Website.
