Barbell Standing Overhead Triceps Extension is a free weights exercise targeting Triceps (Triceps Brachii) using Barbell.
How to perform it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip (palms facing forward), hands placed closer than shoulder-width apart. Lift the barbell overhead, fully extending your arms. Your elbows should be close to your head.
- Slowly lower the barbell behind your head by bending your elbows, keeping your upper arms stationary.
- Lower the barbell until your forearms are parallel to the floor, feeling the stretch in your triceps.
- Press the barbell back up to the starting position by extending your arms fully. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
