4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Cable Twin Handle Parallel Grip Lat Pulldown is a resistance exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Cable Pulley Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Sit upright on a bench positioned between two cable pulley machines with the pulleys set at a high position. Hold a handle in each hand with an overhand grip (palms facing forward), arms fully extended above you.
  2. Pull the handles down towards your shoulders by bending your elbows and bringing them downwards, keeping them close to your body.
  3. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control.
  4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
