4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Decline Levitating Sit Ups Bodyweight is a bodyweight exercise targeting Abdominals (Rectus Abdominis).
How to perform it
- Begin by lying on a decline bench with your feet secured under the footpads. Position your torso so it is parallel to the floor, 'levitating' off the bench.
- Place your hands behind your head with your elbows pointing out to the sides.
- Engage your core and lift your upper body towards your knees, keeping your back straight and avoiding pulling on your neck.
- Lower your upper body back to the starting position with control, maintaining the parallel position. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
