Dumbbell Triceps Kick Back Single Arm

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Dumbbell Triceps Kick Back Single Arm is a free weights exercise targeting Triceps (Triceps Brachii) using Dumbbells.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in your right hand. Bend your knees slightly and hinge forward at your hips, keeping your back straight. Place your left hand on your left knee for support.
  2. Lift your right elbow backward to bring the dumbbell close to your torso, with your upper arm parallel to the floor and your forearm perpendicular to the floor.
  3. Extend your right arm fully behind you by straightening your elbow, keeping your upper arm stationary. Squeeze your triceps at the top of the movement.
  4. Slowly return the dumbbell to the starting position by bending your elbow. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the left arm and repeat.
