Exercise Ball Lying Side Lat Stretch V.2
4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Exercise Ball Lying Side Lat Stretch V.2 is a bodyweight exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Exercise Ball.
How to perform it
- Begin by lying on your side with an exercise ball positioned under your armpit and lower ribs. Extend your top leg straight and bend your lower leg, placing the foot flat on the floor for stability.
- Allow your bottom arm to hang in a comfortable position for support over the ball and extend your left arm overhead, reaching it along the line of your body.
- Allow your body to relax over the ball, feeling a stretch along the side of your torso and through your latissimus dorsi (lats).
- Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply and steadily. Slowly roll back to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
