Assisted Pull Up Normal Grip

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Assisted Pull Up Normal Grip is a resistance exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Assisted Pull Up Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Kneel on the platform pad of an assisted chin-up machine and grasp the handles with an overhand grip (palms facing forward) positioned just wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Begin the movement by pulling your body upward until your chin is above the bar.
  3. Slowly lower your body back to the starting position with control, fully extending your arms.
  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining proper form throughout the exercise.
