4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Ez Bar Standing Front Raise is a free weights exercise targeting Shoulders (Anterior Deltoids) using Ez Bar.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding an EZ bar with an overhand grip (palms facing down), hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Let the bar hang in front of your thighs.
  2. Raise the EZ bar directly in front of you to shoulder height until parallel to the floor.
  3. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your shoulder muscles.
  4. Lower the bar back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
