Cable Rear Drive Bent Arm

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Cable Rear Drive Bent Arm is a resistance exercise targeting Upper Back (Rhomboids).

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart, facing the cable machine. Set the pulley at shoulder height and grasp the handle of the cable with your right hand, palm facing down. Set your arm parallel to the floor in front of you and bent at 90 degrees.
  2. Drive your elbow sideways, keeping your arm bent at 90 degrees, pulling the cable across your chest.
  3. Slowly bring your arm back to the starting position with control.
  4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to your left hand.
