Cable Twisting Pull
4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Cable Twisting Pull is a resistance exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Cable Pulley Machine.
How to perform it
- Stand facing the cable machine with the left foot forward and the right foot back, knees bent. Attach a handle to the low pulley and grasp it with the right hand, palm facing down. Lean forward so your upper body is almost parallel to the floor.
- Extend your arm fully towards the pulley, keeping your back straight and your core engaged.
- Pull the handle towards your torso, rotating your wrist as you pull until your palm faces the ceiling.
- Slowly extend your arm back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
