Exercise Ball Leg Curl

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Exercise Ball Leg Curl is a bodyweight exercise targeting Hamstrings (Biceps Femoris, Semitendinosus, Semimembranosus).

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Lie on your back with your arms at your sides, palms facing down. Place your heels and calves on top of an exercise ball.
  2. Engage your core and lift your hips off the floor, forming a straight line from your shoulders to your heels. This is your starting position.
  3. Bend your knees and roll the ball towards your glutes by pulling your heels in. Keep your hips elevated and maintain the straight line from your shoulders to your knees.
  4. Slowly extend your legs, rolling the ball back to the starting position while keeping your hips lifted. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
