Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip (palms facing your hips), hands placed at shoulder-width.
  2. Lift the barbell in front of you by raising your arms straight out until they are parallel to the floor.
  3. Hold the barbell at the top of the movement for a brief moment, ensuring your shoulders are fully engaged.
  4. Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position in a controlled manner, keeping your arms straight throughout the movement.
