Step by step
How to perform it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip (palms facing your hips), hands placed at shoulder-width.
- Lift the barbell in front of you by raising your arms straight out until they are parallel to the floor.
- Hold the barbell at the top of the movement for a brief moment, ensuring your shoulders are fully engaged.
- Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position in a controlled manner, keeping your arms straight throughout the movement.
