4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Lateral Raise to Shoulder Press Resistance Band Cable is a resistance exercise targeting Shoulders (Lateral & Anterior Deltoids) using Resistance Band.
How to perform it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, placing the resistance band under both feet. Hold the handles of the resistance band with your palms facing inward and your arms at your sides.
- Perform a lateral raise by lifting the handles out to the sides until your arms are parallel to the floor, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
- Once your arms are parallel to the floor, rotate your wrists so your palms face forward, bend your arms at 90 degrees up and press the handles overhead until your arms are fully extended.
- Lower the handles back to shoulder height, rotate your wrists back to the starting position, and then lower your arms back to your sides. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
