Low Cable Overhead Flyes

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Low Cable Overhead Flyes is a resistance exercise targeting Shoulders (Anterior Deltoids) using Dual Cable Pulley Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand in the center of a cable machine with the pulleys set at the lowest position. Grasp the handles with each hand, palms facing up, and take a step forward to create tension in the cables.
  2. Lean lightly forward and position your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your back straight and your arms extended slightly behind you.
  3. Raise the handles up and together in a wide arc, bringing them to meet above your head, while keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
  4. Slowly lower your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
