Seated Resistance Band - Cable Rows

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Seated Resistance Band - Cable Rows is a resistance exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Resistance Band.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs fully extended and feet together, anchoring the resistance band around the soles of your feet. Hold the handles with both hands, arms extended forward, palms facing each other.
  2. Keep your back straight, chest up, and core engaged to stabilize your body.
  3. Pull the handles towards your torso by bending your elbows, keeping your arms close to your body. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together at the peak of the movement.
  4. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position, maintaining control over the resistance band. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
