Single Arm Overhead Extension Resistance Band

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Single Arm Overhead Extension Resistance Band is a resistance exercise targeting Triceps (Triceps Brachii) using Resistance Band.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and secure one end of the resistance band under your left foot. Hold the other end of the band with your right hand, raising your right arm overhead, keeping your elbow close to your head and your palm facing forward.
  2. Start with your right elbow bent and your hand behind your head.
  3. Extend your right arm upward, fully straightening your elbow. Then, slowly lower your hand back to the starting position with control.
  4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the left arm.
