Band Chest Fly
4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Band Chest Fly is a resistance exercise targeting Chest (Pectoralis Major) using Resistance Band.
Step by step
How to perform it
- Secure the middle of the resistance band to a sturdy anchor point at head height. Stand facing away from the anchor point with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding one handle of the band in each hand.
- Extend your arms out to the sides with a slight bend in your elbows, keeping your palms facing forward. Step forward to create tension in the band, positioning your hands slightly below shoulder height.
- Move your arms in a wide arc motion, bringing your hands together in front of your chest. Squeeze your chest muscles as your hands meet, keeping a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
- Slowly return your arms to the starting position with control, maintaining tension in the band. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
