Cable Low Seated Row

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Cable Low Seated Row is a resistance exercise targeting Middle Back (Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major) using Cable Pulley Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Sit on the pulldown machine with your feet placed securely under the knee pads. Grasp the bar with both hands, hands at shoulder-width apart and palms facing down.
  2. Sit upright with your back straight and core engaged, extending your arms fully in front of you.
  3. Pull the bar towards your lower abdomen, bringing your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  4. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
