Diagonal Chop Left is a bodyweight exercise targeting Obliques (External Oblique, Internal Oblique).
Step by step
How to perform it
- Start standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, clasping your hands together and holding them extended opposite your chest.
- Rotate your torso and simultaneously bring your hands diagonally across your body towards your left hip, bending your knees slightly as you turn.
- Keep your arms extended and pivot your right foot as you rotate to protect your knee from strain.
- Return to the starting position in a controlled manner, bringing your hands back opposite your chest.
