Resistance Band Glute Bridge Abduction
4 steps Updated 29/08/2026
Resistance Band Glute Bridge Abduction is a resistance exercise targeting Glutes (Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius) using Loop Resistance Band.
How to perform it
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place a loop resistance band just above your knees. Keep your hands extended by your sides with hands firm on the floor.
- Engage your core and glutes, and lift your hips towards the ceiling, forming a straight line from your shoulders to your knees.
- While holding the bridge position, press your knees outward against the resistance band to stretch them as far as possible.
- Slowly bring your knees back together, then lower your hips back to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
