Cable Split Squat is a exercise targeting Quadriceps (Quadriceps Femoris), Glutes (Gluteus Maximus) using Cable Pulley Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand in front of a low pulley cable machine with a bar attached and grab it with both hands using an overhand grip. Take a step back into a split stance with one foot forward and one foot behind.
  2. Hold the bar extended along the cable and keep your torso upright.
  3. Lower your body by bending both knees until your thigh is parallel to the floor. Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
  4. Repeat for the desired repetitions.
