Cable Single Leg Deadlift is a exercise targeting Hamstrings (Biceps Femoris, Semitendinosus, Semimembranosus) using Cable Pulley Machine.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Attach a straight bar to a low pulley and stand facing the cable while holding the bar with both hands. Shift your weight onto your right leg, keeping it bent at 90 degrees.
  2. Slightly bend your standing knee and hinge at the hips to lower your torso to the floor.
  3. Once your torso is nearly parallel to the floor. Drive through your standing leg to return to the starting position
  4. Lower your foot to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired repetitions, switch legs, and repeat.
