Resistance Band Standing Balance Glute Kickback (Version 2) is a resistance exercise targeting Glutes (gluteus maximus, gluteus mideus) using Resistance Band.
How to perform it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place a loop resistance band around your thighs, just above your knees. Place your hands on your hips for balance.
- Shift your weight onto your right leg and lift your left foot slightly off the floor.
- Keeping your right leg straight, kick it back and upward against the band's resistance, squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement.
- Slowly return your left leg to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the right leg.
