Sumo Squat Over Shoulder Resistance Band is a resistance exercise targeting Quadriceps (Quadriceps Femoris), Glutes (gluteus maximus, gluteus mideus) using Resistance Band.

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward. Place a resistance band under your feet.
  2. Hold the ends of the resistance band with both hands near your shoulders, palms facing forward and elbows pointing down.
  3. Lower your body into a squat by bending your knees and pushing your hips back. Keep your chest up and your back straight.
  4. Lower until your thighs are parallel to the floor, then push through your heels to return to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
