Band Leg Press

4 steps Updated 29/08/2026

Band Leg Press is a exercise targeting Quadriceps (Quadriceps Femoris).

Step by step

How to perform it

  1. Attach a resistance band at a low-mid point on sturdy equipment. Lie on your back facing the extended cable passing over your torso, and attach your right ankle to the band using a cuff.
  2. Bend your right knee and pull it toward your chest, while the other leg stays extended and relaxed on the floor.
  3. Press your foot forward against the resistance, straightening your leg fully without locking the knee.
  4. Return slowly to the starting position. Repeat for the desired repetitions, switch legs, and repeat.
